I have had some really good food lately so I thought I would do a recap post and show you some of it! Who doesn’t love food… am I right?
It’s Thursday so I’m linking up with Amanda’s Thinking Out Loud!
Amy’s Ethiopian Restaurant
My sister got me to go to Amy’s Ethiopian Restaurant last month for their vegan buffet.
I do not remember what all these items are, but the food was really good! Lots of veggies and great flavor. I would definitely go again!
Pied Piper Eatery
When my parents came to visit one weekend, we went out for brunch at the Pied Piper Eatery. I had been here before but it had been years.
I had an omelet with veggies and cheese, hash browns, bacon, and toast. Yum!
Big Orange – Little Rock
While in Little Rock for the half marathon last month, one of the places we ate was Big Orange Burger.
I had a burger with bacon and cheese and sweet potato fries. It was really good! Their truffle-garlic-herb fries were also delicious!
When I was in Murfreesboro for Team Beef TN, we went out to lunch at The Goat. It was in a really cute community of apartments that also had a sand volleyball court and a pool.
I had the goat burger which had goat cheese (my fav!), roasted red peppers, baby spinach, and pesto aioli. It was really good! I love goat cheese!
When my mom was in town the other weekend, we went to Sunday brunch at Graze Nashville.
I had the burrito bowl with seitan chorizo, cashew cheese, roasted potatoes, quinoa, spinach, hollandaise, and guacamole salad.
I fell in love with Zoe’s Kitchen when I lived in Charlottesville, VA a couple years ago. When I found out there were some here in Nashville, I was excited! I love their chicken and steak roll-ups – yum!
Wildfire BBQ & Grill – Franklin, KY
When a friend was in a nearby town last week, I drove up to visit her and we went out to eat at a nearby BBQ joint – Wildfire BBQ & Grill. We got there maybe two minutes before they opened for lunch and already people were lined up outside so we thought it was a good sign and it was!
I had a the pulled pork sandwich (you get to choose and apply your own sauce), mac & cheese, and green beans. It was really good!
For lunch one day I met with another dietitian and we went to eat at Phat Bites. At her recommendation, I got the Ninja Bomb wrap – A wrap filled with chinese chicken, lettuce, shredded carrots, granola, sunflower seeds and raspberry vinaigrette. It sounds a little odd, but it was really good!
Last but not least, Las Paletas popsicles!! This has been a family favorite spot for a long time. I couldn’t decide on just one flavor so I got two – Strawberry Pineapple Banana, and Creamy Cookies. They were both really good!!
Like I said, so much good food! I don’t really eat out that often, these pictures go back to mid-February I am just slow at getting around to writing these blog posts. I hope you enjoyed!
Have you had any good eats lately?
