Today’s edition of the Twin Cities Fitness Guide is all about Good & Twisted Yoga!
Studio: Good & Twisted Yoga
Location: 1018 Gateway Dr, Chaska, MN 55318
This studio had really good reviews on Class Pass so even though it’s about 30 minutes from my apartment, I went. And I have gone back!
The Studio: “Good and Twisted Yoga is here to provide a refuge away from the demands of hectic everyday life where our students can focus on their journey of personal growth and improved health.”
The Classes: I attended the Good & Flexible class. “This yoga class is the choice to help heal injuries and ailments of all kinds, and the perfect complement and balance to powerful/active yoga classes. We will open the hips, back, chest and shoulders with flexibility poses – essential for athletes and injury prevention. Focus is on strengthening, lengthening, and stretching the body. Asanas (postures) are held for several minutes to allow the body to sink deeply into the pose, mostly performed seated or lying on the mat. Practiced in a comfortably warm studio. All abilities welcome.”

My experience: The studio was very nice and quite cute. The instructor, Jennifer, greeted me at the front desk, and showed me around the studio. The class was pretty large. We used a couple props – blocks and a rope, to help with some of the poses. This class was similar to restorative yoga, but a bit more challenging and we didn’t hold each pose quite as long.
Bottom Line: Overall, it was a great class and a great studio and I would definitely recommend it!
