You may know by now that I love smoothies. I used to be a cereal and milk for breakfast kind of gal but it did not keep me feeling full and I was missing so many important nutrients! So now I make a smoothie every morning. Smoothies are a great way to get in foods you may not be eating on a regular basis. I have a freezer full of frozen berries and fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, mango, avocado, etc.!). Smoothies can consist of fruit, vegetables (eat yo’ greens!), healthy fat (avocado, oil, nuts, seeds, etc.), milk or milk substitute, protein (Greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, etc.), and even carbs (oats!). So get creative!
In honor of St. Patty’s Day tomorrow, I am sharing with you some of the best looking green smoothie recipes I have found! Personally, I have struggled with perfecting the color, consistency, and flavor of the green smoothie so for now, I will share others’ recipes until I can create a good one to share!
