I have lived in Minneapolis now for a little over 3 months. And since I’m sure the dreaded winter is going to be here before I know it, I have been searching for places to take photos of this beautiful city. Today I share with you some of my favorites so far.
This photo is of Minnehaha Falls at Minnehaha Park. My mom and I went there when she helped me drive up from Indiana to look for an apartment. We needed to get out of the chaos of the cities and this was a nice little spot to relax.
This photo was taken at Lake Calhoun. I live close to the lakes and often run over there for my half marathon training runs. It is so beautiful!
These three photos were taken downtown Minneapolis after my photography class. I was looking for a spot to get good photos of the downtown skyline. I am very excited to return there and take photos once the leaves have changed colors for the fall!
These two photos were taken of Cherry on a Spoon at Walker Art Center. I drive by there every day going home from work so I decided to stop and take a visit with Ms. Cherry. It was such a beautiful day.
These two photos were taken of the sunset the other night at Lake Harriet. It was so beautiful and so fun to photograph. I am prepping my nighttime photography skills before the Supermooon Lunar eclipse tomorrow night!
