It’s peach season and I got inspiration to hit up the Peach Truck here in Nashville and get some fresh Georgia peaches.
As I’m a huge fan of smoothies and have one every morning with my breakfast, I wanted to see what I could come up with using the peaches.
I have to admit this was the first time I have ever bought fresh peaches. They are a bit of a mess to cut, but they are really delicious!
I had to wait a couple days for the peaches to ripen to their juicy, delicious state but then it was time to get mixin’!
Peach Smoothie Recipe
1 Fresh Peach (or 1 cup Frozen Peaches)
1/8 cup Frozen Pineapple (Just a small amount for added sweetness)
1/3 of a Banana (Frozen)
1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (Optional)
Splash of Vanilla
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
4 oz. Almond Milk, Milk or Water
Combine all ingredients into the blender and blend. Serve cold.
