I have been quite inconsistent with this whole blogging thing for the past couple months. I am balancing so much and nothing has a set schedule, so it’s been hard to carve out dedicated blogging time. I enjoy blogging once I sit down and begin, but sometimes it feels overwhelming not knowing where to start or what to write.
But I do keep an ongoing list of Thinking Out Loud ideas so it’s time for another random, round-up TOL Thursday post!
Raspberry Tea for Cramps
Ever since turning 30, each month I have about one day where I have really bad cramps. My sister told me about raspberry tea and how it is supposed to help with female issues so I decided to give it a try (she graciously offered me some she had on hand!). It worked! I swear within 30 min. of drinking it, my cramps had gone away. So now I drink it each month. Supposedly it would help prevent cramps if I drank it regularly but for now I’ll just drink it once a month.
Email Address Overload
I have SIX email addresses. It sometimes feels like a full-time job just keeping up with checking and replying to emails. I have my personal/business email account, my blog email account, and 4 work/employer email accounts. Three are on gmail and three are on outlook. It’s exhausting!
Party Donut at the Donut Den
I’ve been in search of some good donuts here in Nashville. I stopped by one day to try the Donut Den and they had giant round donuts on a table that they were icing. When asked what they were, they said they were party donuts! Instead of getting a cake or giant cookie, I guess you can also get a giant donut to be served at a party. I love it!
I drink a smoothie every morning for the past 2.5 years so I was using quite a lot of plastic straws. I read a couple things online about how plastic straws are really terrible for the environment so I finally made the switch to Stainless Steel Smoothie Straws Extra Large (<<– affiliate link) from Amazon. I love them! I made sure to get ones without the bend at the top and wide enough for smoothie drinking.
$1 Steaks at The Dollar Tree
I saw a sign for $1 frozen steaks at The Dollar Tree. I am all for a bargain and whatnot, but not sure I want to try a $1 steak. What kind of quality would that include?!
Perfect Dessert for 4th of July
This No Bake Summer Berry IceBox Cake from CakesCottage is a delicious, refreshing, perfect summer dessert – especially for the upcoming 4th of July because it is also very patriotic looking. I saw this recipe online and wanted to make it for a party I went to the other weekend but I was coming from out of town and it was going to be a hassle to make it and bring it in a cooler. So my wonderful dad offered to make it for me and have it ready when I got in town. It was a big hit at the party! I think I had 2 hefty servings! Thanks Dad!

That’s all for today! Have a great long weekend!
