I went for my 3 mile training run this afternoon in downtown Minneapolis. I usually run from work down to the riverfront and from there choose which way I want to run. Today the run went pretty well – it was cloudy and around 80 degrees. I ran to this cute lighthouse and nice view of the city.
As I got close to the lighthouse, I had to go down a slightly sketchy path below the bridge to get up close (then realized the better picture was from the bridge, go figure) and as I was on this sketchy path I come across a lady hooting and hollering things like “B***h I kill you” seemingly to no one. Lucky me as I am the only other person around. So I quickly rerouted back up to the bridge. I find this kind of person/behavior is not uncommon in downtown Minneapolis (probably most major cities) but it does throw a wrench in the plans when you have to reroute your path to avoid the crazies.
